The ArcGIS Systems Administrator role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Effective communication skills are essential for collaborating with various stakeholders.

Education

Master’s degree in GIS, Computer Science or Engineering discipline

Current/active TS/SCI and in-scope CI polygraph

Required Skills

• A minimum of two or more years of experience with GIS Application administration, with sound understanding of ArcGIS desktop, Pro, and web-based versions
• Willing to work on-site in Reston, VA.
• Ability to quickly understand and assess complex mission workflows and technical concepts, design and specify architectures and approaches, and articulate your recommendations to the team
• Employ an agile approach, documenting features across products and incorporating lessons learned
• Take initiative to build a deep understanding of the customer’s mission and workflows to understand end user requirements and work independently to execute on requirements

Desired Skills

• Experience as a developer operating in the cloud (AWS, Azure)
• SAFE certified
• Experience working on-site at a customer location, especially DoD or IC
• Military or defense-related experience and an understanding of operational planning and functional defeat of hard targets
• Ability to clearly express in writing, technical analysis results and software feature needs
