Job Description

The Backend Engineer will assist with the development and deployment pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data meaningful. Here, you’ll work with a multi-disciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers in a fast-paced, agile environment. You’ll sharpen your skills in analytical exploration and data examination while you support the assessment, design, developing, and maintenance of scalable platforms for your clients.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in a professional work environment
• Experience with querying or analyzing data to answer questions and solve problems
• Experience with querying or analyzing data to answer questions and solve problems
• Experience with the deployment of Jupyter
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible
• Experience in programming languages, including Python, R, or SQL
• Knowledge of basic concepts in mathematics and statistics
• Knowledge of Cloud environments

Desired Skills

• Experience with systems engineering or systems administration
• Experience with ETL, data quality, or data cleaning
• Experience with GitHub, Jupyter, or Databricks
