Job Description

Work closely with the other UI and backend developers to develop geospatial based applications and solutions leveraging the Esri platform. Develop applications using various cutting-edge technologies following an Agile process. Envision, design, and develop web applications and UI modules for large-scale deployment and management. Rapidly prototype web applications to showcase new concepts and ideas. Utilize the Esri REST API for integrating the web application with back-end web services.

Education

Bachelors and/or Masters in a technical field such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Information Technology/Systems

Clearance

Current/active TS/SCI and in-scope CI polygraph

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a Data Architect role with proven success.
• 5+ years of experience in hands-on DBA and/or Data Engineer roles.
• Experience with AWS and Cloud based data storage services and solutions
• Experience with traditional SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills including written, verbal and presentation
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to speak technical language with a dev team
• DoD IAT level II (Security+ or similar cyber cert) in order to touch production systems, or the ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire
• Data Architect: 5 years
• DBA or Data Engineer: 5 years

Desired Skills

• Technical background, especially as a DBA, data engineer, or backend developer
• Experience working on an Agile team and executing according to agile principles
• Experience working on-site at a customer location, especially DoD or IC
• Ability to communicate highly technical analyses at a level comprehensible to non-technical audiences and senior-level government representatives
