Job Description

Develop and configure solutions, implement workflows, create and provision data content, test enhancements and provide user support to customers. Provide desk-side support to mission analysts as well as participation in larger project teams. Build databases or data stores from imagery and cartographic/digital sources; support the development of GIS database designs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of data automation, data migration, and database development projects within the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense
• Perform basic and advanced processing tasks using ArcGIS and other Esri products and extensions
• Build databases or data stores from imagery and cartographic/digital sources; support the development of GIS database designs
• Review, interpret, and utilize established production processes
• Perform map and web map production tasks
• Skills to assist with implementation for user-system interaction
• Write geoprocessing Python and SQL script
• Coordinate workflow with project/technical managers
• Up-to-date with the latest GIS trends, techniques and technologies

Education + Experience

• Degree or equivalent experience in GIS
• 3 or more years of professional experience
• Experience with automated cartography, computer science, programming, and spatial analysis
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with mobile and web apps preferred
• Active Secret or Higher Security Clearance Required
